We use the sidereal zodiac — measured against the actual stellar background. Lahiri ayanamsa, Swiss Ephemeris. Same numbers a panditji in Varanasi would arrive at.

From your birth time + place we resolve the ascendant, place every graha into a house and nakshatra, compute house lords, drishti aspects, retrograde status, combust planets.

Atmakaraka — the soul's significator
The planet at your chart's highest degree is your atmakaraka — the dominant signature of your soul's journey. The single most important input to the storytelling layer.

Saturn return + dasha periods
Saturn's position (now vs at birth) tells us this lifetime's test. Your current Vimshottari dasha tells us which past-life signature is most active in your day-to-day.
Your lineage, written by your chart.
Each life surfaces from the math — atmakaraka, dasha cycle, nakshatra signatures, node configuration. No two charts produce the same lineage. There is no menu to choose from.
Your atmakaraka points to the soul's primary craft. Your dasha cycle times the eras you moved through. Your nakshatra signatures place you in specific cultural fields. Together they form a unique lineage — a sequence of lives only your chart could produce.
Order matters. The most-recent life — the one you just walked out of — is the one whose unfinished business shows up loudest in this lifetime. The older lives fade into texture, threads you carry without naming.
The assignment is deterministic. Your chart will surface the same lineage every time you open it. What varies is the depth of the read — recent chapters land as full narratives, older ones as short arcs and headlines.
